Sassy has lived nearly all of her life at Cynthia's home. She has been loved and cared for, and there was a big part of me that felt guilty about taking her from her home.Cynthia and I were nearly killed getting her on the trailor (ok, so maybe I exaggerate a bit...but it was a little nerve-wrecking). Actually, all things considered...though she was nervous as hell, sweating and shaking like a leaf and prancing every which way but forward, she trusted Cynthia enough to step almost immediately into the trailor. Once we got moving, she calmed right down.
After a wrong turn or two (ok, so we got a little lost), we found Linda's farm. Sassy unloaded like a pro, and walked like a gentle-woman to her new pasture. She didn't drag me at all. Once I turned her loose, all my guilt was gone. She tore-ass all over her new pasture...chased her new friends....and tore ass some more. I don't think she knew what to do with all that room!!! It was delightful to watch.
And watch I did. For, like, two hours!!!
